We specialise in premium EV enhancements designed to elevate, protect, and refine your vehicle. The following outlines our policies regarding shipping, purchases, returns, and warranties.
Shipping Policy
Processing & Dispatch
All orders are subject to processing prior to dispatch. Processing times may vary depending on product type, stock availability, and order volume.
Once dispatched, most in-stock items are delivered within 2–7 business days within Australia.
Orders are not shipped on weekends or public holidays.
Special Orders & Custom Products
Custom-made, made-to-order, or special-order items — including body kits, aero parts, and pre-cut PPF kits — typically require 4–6 weeks for production and delivery.
By purchasing these items, you acknowledge:
Production timelines are estimates only
Delays may occur due to manufacturing, supplier constraints, or freight handling
Orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced
Shipping Regions
We ship within Australia and New Zealand only
We do not offer international shipping outside these regions
Freight & Oversized Items
Large or oversized items (e.g. body kits, roof systems, bulk components) may:
Require specialised freight or pallet delivery
Be subject to longer transit times
Require delivery access suitable for larger vehicles
Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery access is suitable.
Risk & Delivery
To the extent permitted by law:
Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery or collection
Customers must inspect items upon delivery and report any damage within a reasonable timeframe
Zero Spec is not responsible for delays caused by:
Courier or freight providers
Weather events
Customs or logistical disruptions
Express Shipping
Zero Spec does not offer express shipping at this time.
PPF Purchase Terms
Paint Protection Film (PPF) kits are precision-cut, vehicle-specific products.
By purchasing PPF, you acknowledge:
Compatibility must be confirmed prior to opening packaging
Once opened, PPF cannot be returned unless required under Australian Consumer Law
PPF is highly sensitive to dust, handling, and installation conditions
Additional conditions:
Professional installation is strongly recommended
Installation should be performed in a controlled environment
Zero Spec is not responsible for installation outcomes, including bubbles, lifting, contamination, or misalignment
Body Kits & Custom Orders
Body kits, aero components, and custom-painted products are classified as special-order items.
By purchasing, you agree:
Lead times may extend to 4–6 weeks or longer
Aftermarket parts may require professional preparation, alignment, and modification
Minor fitment adjustments are considered normal and not defects
Returns & cancellations:
Items that are painted, installed, drilled, modified, or test-fitted cannot be returned
Special-order and custom items cannot be cancelled once production has commenced
Returns Policy
Zero Spec complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where a product:
Has a major failure, or
Fails to meet acceptable quality standards
For non-major failures, we may offer a repair or replacement within a reasonable timeframe.
Return Conditions
Returns must be approved in writing prior to being sent back
Items must be returned in original condition and packaging where applicable
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless required otherwise under ACL
Change-of-Mind Returns
Change-of-mind returns may be accepted at Zero Spec’s discretion.
Conditions:
Item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original sealed packaging
Request must be submitted within a reasonable timeframe
Return must be approved prior to sending
Additional terms:
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense
A restocking fee may apply
Custom, special-order, or PPF products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns
Warranty
Coverage
Electronics: 1 Year Limited Warranty
Hard Utility Products (e.g. roof racks, cross bars): 2 Year Limited Warranty
Warranties cover manufacturing defects and major failures only.
Exclusions
Warranty does not cover:
Incorrect installation or lack of professional installation
Accidental damage or misuse
Environmental damage (UV, weather, chemicals, road debris)
Cosmetic wear and tear
Damage caused by modifications or third-party products
Warranty claims may require:
Proof of purchase
Photos or inspection
Return of the product (if required)
Installation
Zero Spec products are aftermarket enhancements and may require professional fitting.
By purchasing, you acknowledge:
Installation is performed at your own risk unless carried out by Zero Spec
Incorrect installation may result in damage or reduced performance
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Zero Spec is not liable for damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or lack of preparation
Fitment Responsibility
Customers are responsible for confirming:
Vehicle model
Production year
Variant (Standard / Long Range / Performance)
RHD or LHD configuration
Compatibility with existing modifications
If unsure, customers must contact Zero Spec prior to purchase.
Colour & Finish Notice
Product colours and finishes may vary due to:
Lighting conditions
Manufacturing batches
Screen/display differences
Vehicle paint ageing
These variations are not considered defects.
